Rich dark purple in color. Classic Bordelaise aromas of cassis,
cigar box and crushed gravel are complimented by lush, dense
California black fruit. Damson plum, black cherry and spiced
Mission fig flavors on the palate accentuate the solid tannins in
this full bodied wine and are focused and balanced by natural
acidity. Juicy ripe plum dominates the rich, creamy finish of this
classically structured wine. This is a wonderfully complex,
long-lived wine that is delicious now and will benefit from further
cellaring.
